Scholarship & Bursary Examinations

Senior Scholarship Morning - Thursday 9th February 2012

Junior Scholarship Morning - Thursday 8th March 2012

Grittleton House School offers two Scholarship examinations each year – a Junior Scholarship for children currently in Year 3, which comprises three tests, Maths, Reading and Comprehension, and Spelling, and a Senior Scholarship for children currently in Year 6, which comprises four papers, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Comprehension, and Creative Writing. In addition to the Senior Scholarship, we also offer Senior Bursaries in Art, Sport, Music and Drama.

The aim of these scholarships is to reward academic excellence, and the bursaries to recognise excellence in the non-academic subjects, which will entitle successful candidates to a reduction in their school fees for the duration of their time in the Junior or Senior School. These awards come with the proviso that the pupils continue to work to their full potential, conform to the school’s rules, and represent Grittleton House School to the best of their ability. They can be revoked if this fails to be the case.
