Our SEN department offers comprehensive support to pupils who require additional input at all levels of the school. We have an SEN co-ordinator for each of the key stages at infant, junior and senior levels. Their role is to monitor, evaluate and deliver individuals and, where necessary, produce individual education plans. These arrangements are developed for pupils who are working well below the expected national levels within their year group. A number of pupils require additional support because of their dyslexia and we help them develop strategies to overcome these areas. Support can be offered in a number of different ways, this could be individually or in small groups of two or three. Pupils can be withdrawn from lessons or supported in classes.
