At this stage pupils have to choose which subjects they will study for their GCSE courses.  Having worked in all the subjects (except Business Studies, Food Nutrition, Child Care & Development and Environmental Science which are all introduced in year 10) pupils can make informed choices.  The GCSE option groups are small and this ensures that each pupil receives maximum support when it is needed.  Historically, Grittleton House pupils have enjoyed excellent results at GCSE level.
